Legislative Trail Ride
The Legislative Trail Ride is an annual event sponsored by the Virginia Horse Council. It is an opportunity for us to get to know our legislators during a family weekend involving trail rides, pony rides, carriage rides, and other family activities. Select ‘bomb proof’ horses are provided
by members of the horse industry to use in taking our elected officials on short trail rides throughout the weekend.
This event has made the horse industry many legislative friends though the years. It is credited with providing the foundation for much of our success with the Virginia legislative process.
Sponsorship opportunities are available to associations, businesses and individuals in the horse industry. The support of our sponsors is what makes this event possible.
