On May 27, Sue Fanelli with EQ Knowledge will talk with us about the VHC Task Force and its ground-breaking program on horse handling and control for Animal Control Officers in the Commonwealth. This program is the first of its kind in the state and we’re very proud of its content and quality.
We are excited to announce that the fourth and final session of our VHC Annual Educational Seminar will take place this Thursday evening, May 27th from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. via Zoom. Sue Fanelli with EQ Knowledge will discuss the “Anatomy of a Legal Seizure”. In addition, she will talk about the Virginia Horse Council Equine Task Force and its ground-breaking program on horse handling and control for Animal Control Officers in the Commonwealth.
Sue comes with over 50 years’ experience working with and training horses. As a horseman, she raised and trained national level show horses, and developed rule books for a national breed organization. She has served on the board of directors for National Walking Horse Association, on the Virginia Horse Council board, the Virginia Horse Industry board, and is currently a member of the Virginia Horse Council Foundation task force for Equine Welfare.
Professionally, she is a Chemist with over 30 years professional experience including significant experience in adult education. Sue has significant working knowledge of biological systems (more specifically mammalian systems), chemical formulations, dose calculations, and equine anatomy and strives to increase her knowledge of equine issues on a continuous basis.
Currently, Sue Co-Owns a large boarding and training facility with 30+ horses on premises and is the founder of EQ-Knowledge, an equine education provider.
